In 1989 he founded **[[company:eim|EIM]]** (__E__ntertainment __I__magination and __M__agnificence), but remained unsatisfied by its lack of independence. In 1994, after a couple of years break, he founded **[[company:warp|Warp]]**, initially focusing on developing for the [[hardware:3DO]], then [[hardware:PlayStation]], then [[hardware:Saturn]] after a falling out with [[company:sony|Sony]].
