SB Recomends Xbox One Games

  • Batman: The Telltale Series (also on: Android, IOS, PS4, Windows)
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered (also on: PC, PS4)
    • 2501: Doesn’t fix what ain’t broken, but it truly is one of the most gorgeous remastering jobs out there (as it damn well better be, considering what Activision’s charging for it) and makes the original CoD4 almost impossible to go back to. I’d even go so far as to say that this aesthetic and technical enhancement is what finally cements MW1‘s status as one of the best FPS campaigns of all time.
  • Doom (a.k.a. Doom 4) (also on: PS4, Windows)
  • Final Fantasy XV (also on: PS4, Windows)
  • Gears of War: Ultimate Edition
    • Ni Go Zero Ichi: I dunno about “ultimate”, as far as I'm aware it's basically a straightforward remaster of the original 360 title with some of the formerly PC-exclusive content added in. But it is that.
  • Grand Theft Auto V (also ok: 360, PS3, PS4, Windows)
  • Guilty Gear Xrd SIGN (also on: PS4, Windows)
  • Halo: The Master Chief Collection
    • Ni Go Zero Ichi: All the Halo campaigns that matter on one disc, plus Halo 4. I spent the first three months of this year playing through the complete original Bungie trilogy and having the time of my life. Unlike the fugly Halo: CE remake from 2011, the Halo 2 remaster is actually gorgeous. I've heard there are issues with the online multiplayer in this collection though.
  • Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes (also on: PS3, PS4, Windows)
  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (also on: PS3, PS4, Windows)
  • Overwatch (also on: PS4, Windows)
  • Phantom Dust (also on: Windows (10))
    • Ni Go Zero Ichi: Remaster of the cult Xbox game is a free download on XB1, so hey why not try it out.
  • Ryse: Son of Rome (also on: Windows)
    • Ni Go Zero Ichi: Entertaining, gory brawler with really nice graphics and a cute Roman history fanfiction aesthetic crafted by someone with obvious enthusiasm for the material. Combat is like the BamHam games but better and the animations are super intricate. Good trashy fun for a weekend. There's an online PvP mode I haven't tried.
  • Titanfall 2 (also on: PS4, Windows)
  • Wolfenstein: The New Order (also on: 360, PS3, PS4, Windows)
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (also on: PS4, Windows)
  • Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus (also on: Switch, PS4, Windows)
