This is an old revision of the document!
A Japanese videogame company most known for the Asuka 120% Burning Fest series, Neural Gear, and Panzer Bandit.
Fill-in-Cafe began, as Team Cross Wonder, in 1987. Changed to Fill-in-Cafe in 1989 after releasing one game: Mission Metal Sight, for the Sharp X68000. The company was incorporated in 1991. In July 1994 they moved from Itabashi, Tokyo, to Shinjuku-ku. And closed in 1998. Their final game being Makeruna! Makendou Z, for NECs PC-FX.
Much of the former Fill-in-Cafe staff is apparently now part of 5pb. Phantom Breaker is an upcoming (as of this writing) 2D fighting game for the Xbox 360, developed and published by 5pb. It bears many strong gameplay, thematic and graphical similarities to the Asuka 120% series, enough to be considered a spiritual sequel. There is a demo of the game currently available on the Japanese Xbox Marketplace.
