     * firenze: the nighttime Vegas setting is really great. It also includes one of the two maps from each of the first two //Crazy Taxi// games, and a just fucking ridiculous mission mode (Crazy X). If you like hard, video-gamey video games it's great. It also works wonderfully as a pick up and play diversion for 10 minutes.     * firenze: the nighttime Vegas setting is really great.      * Swarm: It's like Disney's Talespin if instead of a bear it starred Nathan Drake from Uncharted. The game gives you a bunch of big maps and lets you do a bunch of missions in them until you move on. Has some nice early levels that have you flying through island caves that it drops way too early. Simplistic but solid gameplay, if you know how to lead targets you'll win every time.     * Swarm: It's like Disney's Talespin if instead of a bear it starred Nathan Drake from Uncharted. -    * somes: //Freedom Fighters// was incredibly awesome. a third person shooter where you could direct a tiny squad of soldiers as you decimated a seemingly insurmountable Russian army.\\ The feeling I got from fighting against all odds, launching a guerrilla war from the sewers, always drastically outnumbered and pressured to get to the target with limited resources, frantically considering strategy while keeping an eye out for that next APC full of enemy reinforcements---has yet to be matched. I'm still waiting for a third person shooter with half the atmosphere.
-    * Toptube: hey freedom fighters is a fun game. its like dungeon siege but with guns all the time. and you directly control one of them. and I like the controls because you can take cover well, without having to rely on fumbly context controls.

-    * Swarm: Absolute insanity. You're RICK SUMMER, TRAFFIC COP and you've gotten caught up in some bad shit with some terrorists who are trying to fuck up your car! Hilariously cheesy yet charming, this is the real FMV shit people crave. The game almost doesn't work, but the arcade gameplay is okay enough and the game short enough, for you to laugh your way through 60 minutes of pure bewilderment. They sold this game for $60! In 2003!+    * Swarm: Absolute insanity. You're RICK SUMMER, TRAFFIC COP and you've gotten caught up in some bad shit with some terrorists who are trying to mess up your car!  +    * Decinoge: Cheesy doesn’t even begin to describe this game. It’s ridiculous turned all the way up to 15. Loved every little bit of terrible voice and real live acting (found on the credits they were actually 2 completely different things). I have to admit this was one of the funniest one and half hours I’ve had in the last month or so. I can’t really say I’ll play the game again. Might do so to get better scores. But that one time was amazing. I’ll probably consider one of the best “one offs” I’ve ever played.

     * boojiboy7: A game created with a decent collectible card game as its backbone, but instead of playing cards, the players act out the battle in largely destructible environments that change a fight. Technically backwards compatible on the 360, but there are some framerate issues and occasional lockups. Still worth playing it that way if that's the only way you can.     * boojiboy7: A game created with a decent collectible card game as its backbone, but instead of playing cards, the players act out the battle in largely destructible environments that change a fight.      * Leau: Psychonauts is a must play.      * Intentionally Wrong: People bag on //Psychonauts// for being "just another platformer" but they were too caught up being offended by the routine to notice what an odd fusion Psychonauts really is. It's got the hub design of //[[game:Mario Sunshine]]// but the levels are all over the map: several are traditional platforming action, others are more about adventure game sensibilities. Every level has some unifying characteristic that makes it unique, though: one level has you combining scripts and scenery with mood-lighting on a stage to create different platform configurations; another involves personally recruiting and deploying units in a strategy board game against [[character:Napoleon Bonaparte]]. Taken together with the brilliant writing, //Psychonauts// becomes one of my top three games of all time.     * Intentionally Wrong: People bag on //Psychonauts// for being "just another platformer" but they were too caught up being offended by the routine to notice what an odd fusion Psychonauts really is.
