 +====== SB Recommends GamePark 32 Games ======
 +
 Released by Gamepark in 2001, the GP32 was one of the first open source handhelds (if not the first). Like others of it's ilk, it's main draw was emulation, with homebrew games a distant second, and commercial games a very distant third. It also had the capabilities for playing mp3 audio, and with some commercial software, video files, too. It used Smartmedia Cards for it's media, going up to a maximum of 128MB. There were 4 versions of the GP32: no light, front lit, and two slightly different backlit versions.  Released by Gamepark in 2001, the GP32 was one of the first open source handhelds (if not the first).
