The 2011 "Game of the Year of All Years" Thread
In 2011 this forum thread was made to determine Selectbutton's favorite games from 1980 to the then-present. There was some silly voting system and voters were given a good amount of leniency to define a release year that suited them, therefore the results might not be completely accurate as a representation of SB's opinions regarding the greatest games of all time.

The 2017 "5 games that give a feel of who you are" Thread
In 2017 there was a forum thread that tasked posters to determine “5 games that give a feel of who you are” or “five games you tell your potential significant other to play to get a feel of who you are” (depending on whether one read the thread's title or the tweet quoted in the opening post). The thread elicited good number of serious responses for posters, as well as a good number of joke posts.
About 140 posts into that thread some dork compiled all of the lists together (even if a poster submitted multiple lists or if a list was obviously a joke list). Of the 275 games people had named off, approximately 88% of them had only one mention. Below is a list of every game that got multiple mentions:
