-//Doom 64//, developed and published by Midway San Diego, is a game for the N64based on a heavily overhauled version of Doom. It features entirely new maps and graphics assets, and numerous changes to weapon and enemy behavior. It also adds two new enemy types and the Unmaker/Lasergun weapon, an unused idea from Doom's original design document. Due to the unwieldiness of the N64 controller, most players nowadays will opt to play the game through one of its PC ports. +//Doom 64//, developed and published by Midway San Diego, is a game for the N64 based on a heavily overhauled version of //Doom//.  A notable detail of the game is that the Doomguy is somewhat shorter than usual, only about as tall as an Imp's torso. This was presumably done to make enemies more intimidating. A notable detail of the game is that the Doomguy is somewhat shorter than usual, only about as tall as an Imp's torso.
