I've seen both 'relevant links', and 'see also' used to internal link sections in articles, and perhaps two for the 'external links' section. Let's pick one! Also: perhaps they can all fit better under one 'see also' section, considering external links are automatically differentiated. - the_blueberry_hill
Hmmm. How about this format? I like it. - BlueberryI've temporarily removed these, since I reordered the site categories. For intrawiki links, I feel like we could have the main table at the bottom of each main section (I hesitate to say every page) as you would see on certain wikipedia articles like those that list all games in a particular series or franchise. As for interwiki links, well, the current dokuwiki software and potential future pmwiki software both support an InterWiki feature which display an icon suited to each links destination (say, wikipedia or the sb forums). -vision
Not sure what to do about their index pages… I'm leaning toward a combined one. Thoughts? - the_blueberry_hill
Genre and theme should be separate. Genre describes the type (ie mold (ie basis (ergo: ancestry))) of a game, while themes describe individual elements of a game (levels, plot, etc.). I think the difference between the two is significant enough to warrant separate indexes. I don't really have any idea what “pattern” is supposed to mean in this context.
Also, “Strategy” is lacking an index, and isn't even listed on the main index. I'm thinking it should be put right next to “Games”, and judging by the Where We Remain entry it should focus primarily on general strategies rather than specific strategies . - RT-55J
'Pattern' is about mechanics, and my thought as to have one index for all the building blocks (genre, theme, pattern). I figure there would be enough cross-over interest when reading through that it would make navigation easier. I'm quite happy to have them separate though. So let's do that.
Yeah, I figure 'Strategy is more for general things, and curiosities. I would rather see it on its own line, rather than next to games though. I'll do that now, and you can change it, if you wish. I'm not entirely sure it needs to be an extra section, actually: could it not be incorporated into a game's page?. - BlueberryWow, that's a bit illogical, isn't it? I write I would like 'strategy' and 'games' merged, but want them on separate lines in the index? - BlueberryI think the Strategy and Games sections should be separate as they (theoretically) hold distinctly separate functions (or something). Also, if a single game has multiple pages, we can just link 'em to each other. I think TVTropes even does this automagically. - RT-55J
