=====SB Recommends CPS Games===== Given the abundance of emulators that specificly serve CPS and Neo Geo games, I figured it was best to separate CPS games from the rest of Arcade games. The CP System (abbr. CPS) is/was company:Capcom's arcade board system. There are 3 different models: CP System (abbr. CPS-1), CP System II (abbr. CPS-2), and CP System III (abbr. CPS-3). I'll go over each in turn. =====Recommended CPS===== ***//Final Fight//** ***//Street Fighter II:Hyper Fighting//** ***//Strider//** ***//Willow//** =====Recommended CPS-2===== ***//Alien Vs. Predator//** ***//Battle Circuit//** * The Blueberry Hill: //Battle Circuit// is one of my favourite genre:belt scrollers. The graphics are lovely, the characters all odd and charming, and there's a good variety of attacks. Gosh, I even like how the name looks. ***//Dimahoo//** * Sniper Honeyviper: //ARE YOU GREAT?// Stupidly obtuse and difficult if you want to score well, otherwise a visually and mechanically stunning fantasy-shmup. ***//Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara//** (also on: Saturn((as //Dungeons & Dragons Collection//))) ***//Giga Wing//** (also on: DC) * Sniper Honeyviper: The //Dynasty Warriors// of scrolling shooters. A bit too easy and patronizing (hey, who said you actually had to DODGE those bullets?!), but good stupid fun for a rainy afternoon or two. ***//Mars Matrix: Hyper Solid Shooting//** (also on: DC) * Sniper Honeyviper: What //game:Gigawing// should have been. * ben: Collectibles are something that I can usually take or leave in shooters, but I think they work incredibly well in Mars Matrix, to the extent that I sometimes find myself trying to extend my combo to the detriment of survival. Repelling bullets also feels hella nice, and there's a really great rhythm to dodging/repelling/collecting. ***//Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters//** ***//Progear no Arashi//** ***//Ring of Destruction: Slammasters 2//** ***//Street Fighter Alpha 2//** ***//Street Fighter Alpha 3//** (also on: Dreamcast, GBA, NAOMI, PS, PS2((as part of //Street Fighter Alpha Anthology//)), PSP, Saturn) ***//Super Puzzle Fighter//** ***//Super Street Fighter II Turbo//** ***//X-Men Vs. Street Fighter//** =====Recommended CPS-3===== All six of them. =====See Also===== * wp>CP System * wp>CP System II * wp>CP System III
