Despite its clunky control it's a fascinating piece of software. It's full of obscure secrets, bizarre levels—and it's bloody hard. It is, at least, worth watching a [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8Yi3jEbShs|speedrun]], even if you don't have the patience to play the game.

===== Super Pitfall II =====

[[company:Activision]] worked on an English version, turning it into a sequel to the unremarkable //[[game:Super Pitfall]]//. It was never released, but a ROM is available online. There are some differences, including the removal of powerups.
